Vote YES for Council Districts for Huntington on December 22

We need your help to make Council Districts for Huntington a reality. We want you to help bring out your friends and neighbors in our Neighbor-to-Neighbor campaign. Your support means more than any endorsement or advertisement.

We expect the vote to be close and we know that the opposition is spending heavily to defeat the change to Council Districts.  Victory depends upon our ability to ensure that supporters get to the polls and vote YES on December 22. You can make a difference by helping bring to voters through our Neighbor-to-Neighbor campaign. Here’s how it works:

  • Step 1: Make a list of 20 Huntington voters that you know will support Council Districts.

  • Step 2: Call each person this week to ask him or her to vote YES for Council Districts.

  • Step 3: On Monday (December 21) call each person again to remind him or her to vote YES.

  • Step 4: On Tuesday, December 22, beginning at 5 p.m., call each person one more time to make sure they voted and if not, ask him or her to go out and vote YES.

Your personal endorsement will matter more than any mailing or advertisement. Our campaign is about empowering average citizens and depends upon the conversations we have with our neighbors. Our ability to bring a more representative, a fairer, a more open and accountable to government to Huntington depends upon our ability to speak to our neighbors and make sure they go to the Polls to Vote YES.

Thank you for your support and efforts to improve the Town we love. Please call Dennis (423-0620) or Mark (425-9217) if you have any questions.
